Proceedings of the conference will appear as regular articles in
physica status solidi (b) – basic solid state physics
All contributions accepted need to meet the scientific and formal standards for publication in an international journal. Publication-ready manuscript files will be used for production. Publication in regular softcover edition of pps (b) will be produced and will contain all the invited and contributed papers of the OSI9 conference. Publication as an Original Paper in pss (b) will require double peer-review by two referees in the same way as for regular submissions to these journals. The softcover edition and shipping is included in the regular conference fee, but not in the student conference fee. However, it can be ordered for 80 USD.

  1. Guest editors: Cecilia Noguez, Bernardo Mendoza and Raul Esquivel-Sirvent.
  2. Submission deadline: September 12th, 2011.
  3. Article length: 6-8 pages (10-page maximum for Invited Papers).
