The 1st Renewable Energy Workshop and Conference aims to provide a forum for researchers, engineers and students from Aguascalientes and its surroundings working on renewable energy to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and ideas. We expect that the conference will help to enhance the interaction among local institutions in order to stablish long term collaborations as well as potential partners to have a broader impact in their research activities. The conference will be a four-days long meeting, including a two-day workshop, and is organized by the Centro de Investigaciones en Optica A. C. in partnership with local public and private higher education institutions, as well as government organizations interested in renewable energies.
The 1st Renewable Energy Conference holds:
a. Plenary sessions, given by recognized speakers in trend topics of worldwide interest and impact in renewable energy.
b. Oral sessions, where invited speakers present their most recent and relevant research results; thus integrating a representative sample of the quality and impact of the renewable energy science and technology currently under development in Aguascalientes.
c. Poster sessions, with a selection of peer-reviewed contributions, scheduled in order to foster the networking and establishment of collaborations among Aguascalientes research groups.
