Air Connectivity

Cancun´s International Airport is the second largest in Mexico and handles the most international traffic. Each year an average of 9,000,000 visitors arrive here.

It currently has two runways and operates more than 200 flights every day; its new control tower is the tallest in Latin America and the eighteenth tallest in the world.

A third terminal was built and, while using energy saving technology, it has an infrastructure capable of handling Airbus 380 aircraft. The Cancun airport complies with all specifications required by the U. S. Federal Aviation Authority.
